A festival in Thredbo is a boutique experience, wander through the village and choose from 15 Jazz performance areas ranging from restaurants, bars & nightclubs, poolside, Village Square, as well as all ages and non smoking venues.

Thredbo has the shops and all the facilities you’d expect in an international class resort, the village is self-contained - all of the venues are within easy walking distance of each other – so after you arrive, leave the car and enjoy the fresh mountain air on foot.

Accommodation is available for all budgets and a festival weekend offers 100 hours of superior Jazz within a village that is situated in the spectacular setting of the NSW Snowy Mountains within Kosciuszko National Park.

Thredbo also offers other activities if you need a break from the festival scene - tennis, golf, mountain biking, Thredbo Bobsled, fly fishing, hiking, Thredbo AIS swimming pool, gym and sports hall, or just breathe in the High Country air on the scenic chair lift to the top of the Ramshead Range. A weekend pass costs $95 for entry to all performances from Friday to Sunday – day/evening passes are available.

Autumn in the mountains can experience very changeable weather so come prepared to rug up for outdoor venues to enjoy the spectacular mountain views. Thredbo festivals also offer intimate performances in restaurant venues. These gigs are very popular and do tend to book out early as they are a great way to enjoy fine food and wine in the company of accomplished musicians.

15 Venues provide performance spaces ranging from intimate restaurants, outdoors, bars and concert venues. Thredbo's 18th Jazz Festival brings many styles of jazz to the mountains – Traditional, Mainstream, Vocal Jazz, Hot Club, Latin, Big Band, R&B, Soul, Funk and always impromptu jams and guest appearances in programmed gigs.
